First Look - Purgatory - Ep. 1 - Claiming An Army!
*Note* Purgatory released on June 22, 2016!
I was pleasantly surprised when Purgatory came my way. You start off a bit slow, but your army grows quite quickly and before long you balancing upgrading your main character, selling units for skill points, and upgrading each unit in your army. While Purgatory boils down games like Heroes Of Might And Magic to just combat, it does so in a dark pixellated environment that is both fun and addicting. I had to force myself to stop playing when I first tried it out. :) I hope you enjoy the ride as I play through this dark, minimalist, casual, tactical turn-based strategy game in my First Look mini-series...possibly full Let's Play Purgatory!

My thanks to Eduard Mirica and New Reality Games for sending this my way. I hadn't heard of Purgatory before it came my way, but it looked very interesting. I gave it a shot and had a lot of fun. Look for this First Look mini-series to potentially morph into a full run. :)
