First pass at custom dialogue system in Unity (sorry temp SFX for now)

I made my custom dialogue system today for A Fire Made of Snowflakes. The idea is that a lot of the game's actions will be deciding whether to wait or not, so you can choose to run away from a character and ignore their speaking, or you can move slower and have a chat and listen. Also, when a character is far away, it will be harder to "hear" them, so the dialogue box naturally looks smaller. I am not planning for voice acting in this game, so this is the way right now.

I don't like the SFX the way it is since it's too noisy and crunchy. I want to have a softer sound design but I'm not sure how to do that yet.
