Quake 64 arrived onto the Nintendo 64 with deathmatch multiplayer but no cooperative multiplayer. This version of Quake would not be ported to the PC until 2021 with the Quake Rerelease. Although Quake 64 cannot be loaded in multiplayer through the normal menus, we discovered we could get it loaded by using console commands in the multiplayer lobby. Even console players who have Quake 64 DLC can join in. Thus with a collaboration, between the Doom 64 and Hall of Epiphany discords, we set up perhaps the very first cooperative play in Quake 64's history!
