Did you know that the new Quake rerelease can run custom maps? Well it can! Here's a custom SM 214 map being played on the rerelease! The downloads are above, and you first need to add the SM214 folder to your Quake user folder. Here is where you can find that user folder:

Windows Location: C:\Users\[user name]\Saved Games\Nightdive Studios\Quake\
Linux Location: ~/.steam/steamapps/compatdata/2310/pfx/drive_c/users/Saved Games/Nightdive Studios/Quake/

When Quake is loaded, use this CVAR in the console "game SM214" to load the game. Use "skill 0" CVAR to set it to easy, "skill 1" for normal, and increasing numbers are harder difficulties. Then use the "map" CVAR to load a specific map. Finally, don't hesitate to ask questions here for help loading custom quake maps!
