The process of getting braces has officially begun! Krew went to the orthodontist to get spacers placed between his teeth to make room for metal brackets before putting his official spacer to widen his mouth to make room for his new big boy teeth. The kids were really excited to get braces but I think once the day finally came they were a little nervous not knowing what to expect when getting braces for the first time. The spacers were a little more painful than I think they were anticipating and braces hurt so his mouth hurts and making room between teeth using painful spacers to place brackets for braces is hurting his mouth. But this just phase one of many in the getting braces for the first time process!
