First Time Doing a Side Flip in a Bigger Parkour Line - DragoNate Daily Vlog - Tuesday 2017-06-13
8My Tuesday this week was a great one for many reasons. Earlier in the day, I felt like I had so much time, but then it all just went away so quickly later on. I got to teach 3 parkour classes today and it was awesome because the kids all loved it and had a lot of fun! My own parkour training later on wasn't very much, which is okay because I still did something. My friend and I came up with a couple different lines, and the first one was very flowy and felt so good! It was also my first time doing a side flip in a bigger parkour line, and it actually worked quite well, so I am happy! #SideFlip #ParkourLine
When I first practiced that first line, I tried the side flip at the end, but I was confused and took way too many steps and stumbled into it, it was bad. For flips, I always think 4 steps. This way, I have enough steps to get some momentum, but not too much that I waste energy or confuse myself. Other than that, I am very happy with my flow now, I can see how much it has improved and it feels good. Flow is an important aspect of parkour.
