đ Notes: If you were born anytime after the year 2000, you may have no idea who the heck Dennis The Menace is. Back in the day, even back before Old School Gaming Nerd was born, people got their news from this thing called newspapers. In newspapers is a section that was referred to as the "funny pages". Basically it's a section of the paper full of comic strips like Charlie Brown and Garfield. Dennis The Menace is one of those old school comic strips from the 1950s that was included in the funny pages. Dennis is a kid who's kind of a nuance. He has a good heart, but he gets into all types of shenanigans that make life difficult for the adults in his life, more specifically his neighbor Mr. Wilson (keep in mind that this was before ADD/ADHD, autism, etc. became well known so Dennis was basically seen as a brat kid). Fast forward to the 1990s and the Dennis The Menace movie was released. This game is based on that early 90s movie starring quite a few legendary actors/actresses such as Walter Matthau as Mr. Wilson and Joan Plowright as Mrs. Wilson (you can see they included Matthau's likeness in the thumbnail). Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Ben Stein, and Paul Winfield also make appearances in this movie (Paul Winfield is the alien captain from that legendary Star Trek episode, and subsequent meme, where him and Picard say shaka when the walls fell). So what about the gameplay? Well it's terrible, don't even bother. It's a platform game that's made so that it's unnecessarily difficult. I just felt like writing about old school comic strips.
