Fix Error Cannot Start Microsoft Outlook Cannot Open The Outlook Window The Set Of Folder Cannot Be Opened An Unexpected Error Has Occurred
Step 1) Update outlook
Step 2) If updating the Outlook application does not fix the error then you have to recreate the Outlook email profile.
Navigate to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Profiles (Outlook 2019,2016)
Now delete all the folders listed under Profiles.
Restart the computer.
Relaunch Outlook and recreate your email profile.
Note: If you are using a different version of Outlook this will change as follows. Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\15\ Outlook\Profiles
Restart the computer.
Relaunch Outlook and recreate your email profile.
In Windows 11 and Office 2016 the REGISTRY is:

Restart the computer.
