1. Play the MW2 game as admin.
2. Scan and Repair game files in Steam or Battle net Launcher.
3. Clear the Battle.net cache, Blizzard Entertainment folder@ %programdata%.
4. Update Windows and graphics drivers.
5. Install DirectX 12 as admin.
6. Update existing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package.
7. Delete the Modern Warfare 2 folder in Documents.
8. Close background applications via WTM. Or play the game in Windows Clean Boot.
9. Disable all in-game overlays: Steam, Discord and alike.
10. Allow Modern Warfare 2 through Windows Defender Firewall.
