If your Oculus Quest 2 controller/Meta Quest 2 controller is not powering up (no light) after you replaced a new battery; try to fix your controller not being active after pressing any button. One of the solutions for that that worked for me is that there was a problem with the connector. Maybe a bit of debris and it might in your case be corrosion that leads to the power in the battery not reaching the controller itself, thus not waking it up.

So this might not be a battery issue at all, but a problem with the connector itself. It's a very common issue, so make sure to cover this one as well, just to make sure this is not your problem before ordering a new controller or sending your Quest 2 controller to a lab, or asking Oculus/Meta for a replacement.
