Fix or Repair shutter release button not working Canon 30D 40D 50D problem with intermittent shots ! Clean the dirt from the contacts using Isopropanol 99.9% pure (ISOPROPYL) REMEMBER * Only do this at your own RISK !!! If NOT sure use Canon service to repair...

Step by Step Help Instructions - * DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK *

1. Take out Battery and time battery (Button size in Battery compartment - slide out from side)

2. Take off Lens and put on protective cover on Digital Camera

3. Turn camera upside down and open battery lid - angle towards the Shutter Button ! away from main center of parts on camera.

4. Pour a teaspoon or pipette full of Isopropanol 99.9% or 99.5% into chamber and let drip to button below and out into container...

5. Click or press shutter button several times... or take shots !

6. You might see tiny dust dirt pour out into the container !!

7. Repeat if you like couple of times...

8. Let battery chamber dry of all liquid ( check by using a tiny container full of the Isopropanol and see if it ALL evaporates !)

9. Now completely dry ... it dries quick than water so is good to use and will not rust metal parts :)

10. Put both batteries back and SHOOT !! Works great :D FIXED !

Happy photo shooting... Simkraf =^.^=
