In this video, I will be showing you different methods which you can do within Windows 10 that will hopefully fix the "check for updates" not working on your PC or laptop. When you are trying to check for updates, if you are receiving an error message every time you click onto the check for updates button, saying something like "Error Encountered. We couldn't connect to the update service. Well try again later, or you can check now. If it still doesn't work, make sure that you're connected to the internet." then there are a couple of reasons why this might be happening. It could be as simple as your internet connection, or it could be the Windows Update service has crashed. But don't panic as the methods are fairly straightforward to do.
