Fix your GPU Hotspot/Junction Temp, high temperature, overheating graphics card, over 100 degrees
This video shows how to fix your GPU Hotspot Temperature (high GPU temp), how to fix a GPU hotspot too hot, aka junction temperature fix (GPU junction temp fix) and how to fix your overall GPU temps. Works for hotspot temp GPU fix/fix GPU temp or GPU temp too hot, but for how to fix overheating GPU/GPU temperature high and high GPU temps (GPU max temperature fix) will be the most useful.
This video is the answer for all these questions:
Why the GPU is always hot? Junction temperature/hotspot temperature over 100? GPU high temperature fix? How to fix overheating graphics card? Why is my GPU over 100 degrees? How to cool down a GPU? How to reduce GPU overheating? How to decrease your PC temps? GPU hot spot too hot? Fix temperatures GPU? High GPU temp fix? GPU hotspot temp fix? Heat hotspot GPU? Junction temperature fix? GPU junction temp fix? How to fix your GPU temps? Why the GPU is always hot? GPU high temperature fix? GPU hotspot temperature fix? Bad temperature GPU fix? How to lower your GPU temps? How to fix a GPU heating problem? How to Fix bad temperature GPU? How to make or keep your GPU cooler? How to cool down GPU temperature?
Solution:
Basically, you'll set the Maximum GPU Boost to the Default one showed by GPU-Z. That's it. First, record your DEFAULT GPU profile performance (I used Heaven Benchmark 4.0 for this) while you have GPU-Z recording your stats in the background. Then do it with the changes I recommend. Verify if you get better temperatures with almost the same performance. For even more improvements, test with the POWER set on negative. Also, I undervolted the GPU too. For this, slowly decrease it by -10 until your GPU Driver will crash or you'll get lower performance/FPS in Heaven Benchmark 4.0. For me, on my 6900XT, at 1090 mV it starts to decrease my performance, the GPU Driver will crash if I go under 1060 mV. I use 1100 mV for optimal performance. I have a Custom Fan curve too, but that isn't necessary.
