I try my hand at fixing a broken hard drive that had been kicked over! when I opened it up I couldnt find anything wrong with it, but it was still making this clicking sound. When I got it open and running it was making this high pitched whining sound. I couldnt find anything mechanically wrong with it so i did some searching on the internet to see what other people were doing. turns out they say it is the PCB board that is causing the error! I have no desire to buy another PCB so I gave up on it! not to mention the wires i accidentally ripped out!
