Intel and TMSC have been in a battle for the best process manufacturing node. Intel is getting behind in the race, not only in technology, but in naming. When Intel is on 14++nm, TSMC is putting out 7nm chips - but do these numbers mean anything? Dr. Ian Cutress has an idea, probably not a popular one, about what Intel can do to claw back some of the marketing hype, after being left behind. TSMC has already made some good gains, so fair play to them.
