So Yoshi's New Island's soundtrack has its rough parts, and when the title theme of your game is really THIS rough you've gone a little wrong somewhere.

But the thing is that I notice that it's not the COMPOSITION that's bad, it's the instrument selection and mixing that are more often at fault. If only that main instrument was switched out, this would be a really beautiful track.

So I looked around for a MIDI and couldn't find one, but I DID find a MIDI for the Overworld Theme.

Thing about the overworld theme though is that the only thing wrong with it is that it's got a pretty crappy trumpet, really. So I replaced the trumpet with a better one. A section of trumpets, actually. Outside of that only a few slight changes were made, moving things up an octave for a bit of cuteness (since my piano isn't nearly as cute as Nintendo's version is) and removing the bell since I felt the trumpets being better made the bell superfluous.

This has been my shot at "fixing" the overworld theme from Yoshi's New Island, I hope you enjoy it!

I'd LOVE to take a shot at fixing the main theme but unfortunately a MIDI doesn't exist, which is what I would need to be able to work from. Ah well.
