FJORDDAL MAP – Map Tour – Farming Simulator 22
3Welcome to Fjorddal Map, designed by Olis9 for Farming Simulator 22!
You have now arrived Fjorddal, a fictional valley in West-Norway.
This map has been built with the idea of having a great view from the main farm on the map, and include some interesting, and a little bit unrealistic elements such as an island with both two bridges and a ferry.
I have also played around with making the train go over these two bridges, trough the chocolate factory and even into a drivable tunnel in the montain where the sellpoint is, which I think makes the map quite unique.
To get the ferry you need to download the ferry pack which is for PC only. This means console players need to use the bridges.
The map got some steep fields just like West-Norway, and this means you need powerful vehicles to work the land, and small machines that fit the roads.
I have made one of the fields extremely steep, just like a ski hill, so you can really push your tractors to their limits.
Most of the fields got lots of bushes around, inspired by the hedges in the British maps.
This is my 2nd map so far and I have not created any of the objects myself. I use basegame buildings and prefab stuff.
The map requires the fantastic BuildingsOfNorway mod installed to run. That is because the norwegian buildings come from that mod.
The buyable plots have been priced to suit the value of both the land and the funtion of the buildings that comes with it.
Since most of the buildings are sellable, the sellprice of them can be higher than what you payed for the land, unfortunately.
To use the BGA, you need to buy it. If you want to use the bunker silos, you need to buy the landplot aswell.
On the map you will find:
-A main road, smaller public roads and farm tracks.
-Fjord and rivers where you can fill your water tankers.
-Several farms with fields and animal pastures.
-62 buyable plots of land.
-88 fields with missions, they have different sizes and shapes, both arable and grass.
-Several forests and an open plot of land, number 62, for creating your own area.
-More than 10 sellpoints that take different products.
-Train which can be used for selling goods.
-Several placeable production points.
-A BGA and bunker silos.
-Sawmill area with waterpond.
-100 collectible cheese wedges around the map.
-2 viewtowers located in some good spots.
