Description:
After the true ending of Gaia's Melody: Echoed Melodies, Akira and her friends settle down in New Tera and try to recover from the trauma of the previous game. Unfortunately, a strange phenomenon is causing the monster population of the town to panic, so the team will have to take up their weapons once more.

Make sure to grab loot from the inn before leaving the city.
4:34 World Map
The WM is in mode 7 and is labeled. It also has a minimap, which begs the question why we can't have the minimap for all the areas. Maybe it has to be hardcoded for each area in a really cumbersome way, so it was scrapped?
I didn't realize this until later, but the world map actually has encounters. I recommend grinding there to make sure everyone in Akira's team has good equipment.

8:17 Merrik Sealed Cave
The inside of this place looks similar to the Evermore area in the Gate. You can find some ghosts here, including Leith and Aaron. At the very last room, you find Eiko's ghost and Agares. Seems his soul just won't die.
22:53 Boss: Agares (Hard Fail)
Not statistically possible at level 10, even with Akira spamming her AOE heal at the start of each turn.
24:56 Boss: Agares (Normal)
Even on normal, it's hard to survive a long battle against him, though Akira at least seems to be faster. Choko's buffs are really powerful though, since she managed to hit Agares for 5K with a normal attack. I don't know if that was a crit or non-crit.
27:00 True Merrik Sealed Cave
Aneka shows up and somehow finishes Agares off, even though she's only level 1. The party returns to their original world, but Akira and Aneka fall through the floor.
Aneka can level up now, which will give her a bit more survivability.
Midway through, Aneka suggests that Akira will sacrifice the rest of the world to save her friends.
Eventually, the two will reunite with Zephyr and Tadase.

There's a party, but Akira is really tired, to the point where she can't even autorun.
56:27 Melody Dream
There's a flashback where Zephyr temporarily lets Melody out of her cell to play. One of the scientists there is named Aneka, but she seems to be a different person from the one in the party.

Looks like Zephyr had a dream/nightmare too. Akira and Zephyr decide to go out into the city to clear their heads, and some party members tail them.
