The original Flashback was made in 1992-1993 by Delphine Software with Paul Cuisset as a project leader. This cinematic platformer would wind up being one of France's best-selling games.
In 2013, Paul Cuisset decided to make a remake of Flashack which would expand on the original game's scope. It did so by making the movement engine completely janky, ruining the dialogue, having a ton of bugs and the list goes on. It's not a good game and I will be playing all of it.
