Flashing lights warning near the end of the video when showcasing what still lags it! If you're sensitive to this, I'd skip the video starting from 17:20.

In this video, I'll be testing to see if you can lag obby creator the same way as tower creator. I try pushing everything to the game's cap to see if it lags or not. (Spoilers below)

Glitch Type: Oversight
Severity: Mild (Maybe Major)
Fixable: Partial

Resolution: The best you can do is to minimise the lag by unloading the plot when you exit it, but this can lead to unfair falls. A better answer is to load the plot when you're near it (about 8 studs or so). This would at least prevent it from going server sided with lag. However, even tower creator's canister mode can still lag through it.







The short answer is yes and no. Yes, you can still cause lag by effects, but only when inside them, however you cannot just spam parts alone to lag the game. The limits do a very good job stopping lag machines from just spamming. However, the effects do lag the same way in Roblox Studio as well, so this is unavoidable.

Note: The game does seem to do 1 solution to stop it from lagging for everyone, but I think this is a behaviour with roblox and not obby creator.
Update: It's likely Obby Creator.

This might still be possible with a setup, but at least you can't spam it like tower creator, hence why the severity is lower. even with effects, it's only when the camera is inside the parts.

Note: all of the testing here was done without featured obbies being loaded.
