Here I demo on how to achieve celebrity soft waves on a few sections with not a curling iron, but a smoothing iron, or what many call a "flat iron". I like to call it smoothing iron because I would rather hear "smooth" hair than "flat".
This is a very simple and quick hair tip and technique. Please make sure your hair is completely DRY before using any hot tools. I suggest using a thermal protecting spray such as "Hot Off The Press" by Paul Mitchell as seen in this video and I also use the Paul Mitchell Pro Tools Ion Style Smoothing Iron.
Do not keep the hair in the iron for any long period and as you can see I keep the iron moving always and do not hold the hair in it al all.
