A playthrough of Interactive Binary Illusions' Flight of the Amazon Queen, published by Warner Interactive Entertainment in 1995.
Interactive Binary Illusions, a tiny Australian development team, greatly inspired by the Monkey Island series and the Indiana Jones movie Raiders of the Lost Ark, spend three years developing their own homage to the classical 2D point'n'click adventure game. Flight of the Amazon Queen took the best from the pioneering games before but technology was moving fast and when the game finally was released in 1995, for the Commodore Amiga and IBM PC, the big studios and the consumer market were already onto the next big thing, full motion video.
