So, underneath the Great Wall of China, we find another dimension of levitating giants, levitating islands, and levitating DEATH!

What we know:
The story of Tomb Raider II surrounds the mythical 'Dagger of Xian', a weapon which was used by an Emperor of China to command his army. By plunging the weapon into its owner's heart, the weapon has the power to turn its bearer into a dragon. A flashback reveals that the last battle which was fought with the Dagger ended in defeat when the warrior monks of Tibet succeeded in removing the knife from the Emperor's heart, whereupon the Emperor died. The Dagger was then returned to its resting place within the Great Wall.
The game begins in the present day near the remains of the Great Wall, where Lara Croft investigates the legend of the Dagger. Upon reaching the door which leads to the dagger, she is attacked by a thug who claims to work for Marco Bartoli, a Venetian Mafia leader who has an obsession with the ancient lore of the Dagger. After travelling to Venice, Lara makes her way through Bartoli's hideout and an opera house where Bartoli's men are plotting a heist. Lara manages to follow Bartoli aboard his aeroplane, but she is knocked unconscious before she can confront him.
After fighting her way through an offshore rig where Bartoli has taken over business in order to send an expedition to his father's sunken cruise ship, Lara follows the trail 40 fathoms into the depths of the ocean, to the sunken Maria Doria, looking for the Seraph - an artifact somehow connected to a Tibetan monastery.
With the Seraph safely in her hands, Lara journeys to the Barkhang Monastery in Tibet, where the Seraph unlocks a door to the catacombs underneath the mountain. There, she fights yetis, leopards, and white tigers, and rings the holy bells of the ice palace, before she finds the Talion - the key to the Temple of Xian.
Back in China, Lara unlocks the temple, but before she can grab the dagger, she is dropped into a vast network of traps and contraptions - a test for the worthy wielder of the dagger.
Unfortunately, Bartoli gets to the dagger first, and during a ritual he stabs himself with it, hoping to turn himself into a dragon.
Lara follows the gang through a portal to another dimension of levitating islands, and must battle levitating giants and make her way through countless traps to find Bartoli and snatch the dagger.

To play Tomb Raider II with a gamepad, I had to install JoyToKey, a (shareware) software that enables joystick presses to be registered as keyboard presses. This allowed all of Lara's actions to be mapped to a DualShock4.
You can download JoyToKey at http://joytokey.net/
I also had some trouble with Tomb Raider II running in fullscreen mode, and had to download a patch to fix some rather unfortunate glitches:
