"One Resort" from Flower, Sun, and Rain

Flower, Sun, and Rain is an adventure game by Suda51 (Goichi Suda) and is loosely connected to The Silver Case...but I don't know how because I haven't played it yet! Originally released on the PS2 in Japan, we later got a localized port on the DS.

This was my first entry for DoD (Dwelling of Duels), a VGM community focused on themed monthly contests where submissions and voting are done anonymously, then the rankings and artists are revealed afterwards. I entitled it "THIS IS MY LAST RESORT" there as a joke, much to the chagrin of Papa Roach fans.
January was Brevity Month, which meant entries were required to be under 1 minute long! I barely squeezed this in, which is why I didn't play the ritardando at the end. The original track has an extended ending with ambient beach sounds and the same gamelan(?) sample used in Legend of Mana's "Moonlit City Lumina" (which I have also covered) and Janet Jackson's "China Love," but the piano part is only about a minute long so that's all I included.
