In this video, I'm running a little 'neuroscientific' experiment. What happens when all flight controls are reversed? Let's see how my brain responds to this sudden change in aircraft handling and if I can actually land the airplane!
This video is based around the loss of control incident of an Air Astana flight 1388, which experienced huge control issues departing Alverca, Portugal after some large maintenance. Of course, the situation there was different from the situation simulated here, but hopefully you get the point: if all, or any of the flight controls respond in an oscilatory or reversed manner, you will really struggle to maintain control and you pretty much have to learn how to fly again.
