๐๐ --- INFO & TIMESTAMPS --- ๐๐
In this video I give you some insights into how to fly a stabilized approach in the Boeing 737. However, this video should also be applicable to other airliners and other sims in general.
Note: I'm not configuring the aircraft and its systems at all: that's because in my opinion the best way to learn how to land the 737 is by FEELING the aircraft and not getting distracted by anything else. In other words: I fly it like a GA aircraft. This may look/sound weird, but it actually helps! You can add complexity yourself as you practice!
TIMESTAMPS:

๐ - Things to make sure beforehand: 0:39
๐๐ ----- Practice with GA aircraft first! 0:59
๐๐ ----- Get a Yoke, Throttle & Rudder set! 1:24
๐๐ ----- Set the aircraft up VERY basically (focus on feeling the aircraft): 2:01
๐๐ ----- Set extended runway centerline: 2:37
๐๐ ----- Set cockpit view to centerline of runway! 3:20
๐๐ ----- Make sure you sit comfortably! 4:59

Please don't give me the 'X-Plane is better', 'Prepar3D is better', 'you should have used X-Plane' comments. This video is intended to be applicable to all simulators, regardless of which one is your personal favorite! Such comments will be removed. Feel free to have that discussion somewhere else!
