After a series of intense challenges in the deadliest castles on Dinosaur Island, Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Peach decide to continue their vacation before returning to the mushroom kingdom, due to PURE KNOWLEDGE OF DESTINY (cough cough* script), Mario, while resting at Yoshi's house, came across a small being with blue hair that, at first glance, looked like a toad. Walking around the surroundings of that house. the little gremlin madly searched everywhere, without saying a thing, looking for something. because for some unknown reason he was ONLY able to communicate through "musical sounds" that at first, Mario didn't understand... Super Mario World Power Star Melody is an expansion, (Which for now is a demo mod) that tells a journey of new perspectives and horizons for the Mario brothers and their group of friends. where in addition to the high adrenaline, it will take your skill to another level, never seen before in your Super Nintendo game, containing gameplay focused on rhythm (and in the future traditional platforming).

Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io.

The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?

Friday Night Funkin' is an ongoing project that will continue to receive updates, bug fixes and new content. A full version of the game is currently in development, having been successfully funded via a Kickstarter campaign. Check the changelog here for information on the latest updates.
