Today's issue of the journal is all about the upcoming Space Age Venus. Even before this age can be tested on the beta server, numerous images and texts are already included in the game. These allow early conclusions about how the new age will be. Of course, I want to share this with everyone here on the channel. But please take it with a grain of salt: This is very early preliminary information and some things could still change.

After researching the first technology of the new age, we will get a new city hall. The vehicles and passersby on the streets will change. I've zoomed them out a bit so you can see a bit more.

Two new residential buildings will provide the necessary additional population for those who don't already have this subject more than covered via Great Buildings. It is likely that one of the two buildings will be a normal residential building, and the other will be a premium building.

Next, there will be two buildings for producing supplies. The Drone Hub produces 6 different drones in the familiar production intervals of 5 minutes to 24 hours. The floating gardens produce various flowers. Again, we can assume that one of them is likely to be a premium building. As usual, millions of supplies are needed not only for research but also for the production of the new goods on Venus.

Analogously, there are also two Cultural Buildings. The larger one will probably be the normal building and the smaller one then possibly the Premium building, which should then have better values despite a smaller footprint.

There will also be a new decoration.

As in all previous ages since the Bronze Age, there will then again be 5 new military buildings. One of the buildings will build the new heavy unit, the energy cannon. Another builds the steel fist artillery. The Observation Drone will then be the fast unit of the Venus Age, the Spirit Blaster the light unit, and the Power Dragon the ranged unit.

Architecturally challenging is the new Legendary Structure whose bonus is currently only very vague speculation.

With the beginning of the new age, the colony on the asteroid belt will be lost for good. This also means that you can no longer produce the goods of the Space Age Asteroid Belt, except by event buildings. You can research special synthesizers and then build them on Earth if you don't have enough of these goods in your inventory yet. Likewise, one will then be able to artificially produce asteroid ice. This is further required for numerous researches and it is recommended to build up a sufficient stock of it before ascending. Alternatively, you can reproduce it in an appropriate synthesizer.

Clicking on the space shuttle will take us to our outpost on Venus from now on. There our buildings will float in the gas atmosphere of Venus. Apart from the interesting new design, the game mechanics seem to be the same as on Mars and in the asteroid belt. The 5 new goods can then be produced in production buildings on Venus - or as usual in event buildings on Earth.

Although Venus has no moon in reality, the texts in the game suggest that the province map could play on 4 satellites of Venus. There you will find sectors with the new PvP tower, with 2 of the 5 resources and the new special good. For this then probably daily fights will be necessary again.

The view on the new battlefield can only give a first visual impression because nothing can be seen about the values of the single units yet. We will all learn more about this when the new era can be tested on the beta server.

I don't have any information about the date yet, neither regarding the beta server nor the player worlds. But as today's pictures show, it's getting very concrete.
