To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of our Platinum 1975 album Fool for the City, Rhino Records is releasing a special double disc (both vinyl & CD) set on September 12, 2025, featuring the newly remastered original album plus a never-before-heard Foghat LIVE recording from two high-energy shows at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, captured in November 1975. Produced and mixed by Nick Jameson—who played bass on the tour and originally produced Fool for the City and Foghat LIVE—the new tracks were recently mixed & mastered at his studio in Reykjavik, Iceland. “Nick is a genius,” says Roger. “He worked extremely hard to make these recordings sound as powerful as ever—and we’re thrilled with at how it turned out!”
