ex-Hatebreed bassist Chris Beattie‘s November 2024 firing from the band was not amicable. Hatebreed have been relatively quiet on the situation, outside of announcing they had parted ways with him “for the foreseeable future” back in February of 2025 ... Beattie would later say in May ... that attorneys were involved in the lingering dispute between himself and the band.

that Beattie filed suit against the band and vocalist Jamey Jasta on July 30th. In that complaint, Beattie alleges the band ejected him due to financial gain.
Beattie also disputes Jasta‘s claims that he was fired because he had harassed a Live Nation security guard during a November 9th, 2024 show at the Toyota Oakdale Theater in Wallingford, Connecticut. Beattie has stated that Jasta‘s claims over that matter were “patently untrue.”

Alice In Chains frontman Jerry Cantrell hasa replacement for Filter on his new suimmer solo tour. ..filter were forced to drop off that bill due to a longer period of recovery following their frontman Richard Patrick‘s back surgery.

Bassist Mason Nagy has announced his departure from The Devil Wears Prada. Nagy began working with the band back in 2018. In a personal statement issuedJuly 31st, he stated on Instagram :
“Hello to all. I wanted to make a personal announcement that I have decided to leave The Devil Wears Prada. I am so grateful for all the friends I have made along the way and for the unforgettable experiences I have had the opportunity to be a part of over these last 7 years."
