Folger Tech FT-5 LARGE SCALE 3D PRINTER Timelapse and Building Tips (3DP#02)
350In which I build Folger Tech's large format 3D printer! All in all, this took ~24 hours for me to build. Read more for links, song info, and other things!
Overall, I really do enjoy this kit. I haven't had more than 3 prints from it yet, but I can already tell that it will be hard to beat the quality of this printer at this price point. It isn't great out of the box, but as a starting point for future modifications (which is what repraps are all about) I don't see how this printer could go wrong. Expect more from this printer in the future, as my old one is being sold.
