Foo Fighters is a group that rose to fame quite quickly beginning the same year that Dave Grohl's prior band, Nirvana, broke-up due to Kurt Cobain's suicide. Instead of the more noiser and darker sound of Nirvana, Foo Fighter's became one of the first relevant groups of the post-grunge scene. Outside of the 90's, they continued out to make hit singles and even reached critical success with their 2011 album "Wasting Light". It's been a while since Foo Fighters have caused such a stir unless you're a fan or listen to classic radio, but their new album recollects an older sound as it works through the recent death of their drummer, Taylor Hawkins. Here's my thoughts. Hope y'all enjoy!
