For Honor Chapter 1 Guide
The chapter begins with a short intro of The Warden. You can select a character, look at the intro and then move ahead with the game.
Defend The east wall:
Move towards the marked locations to reach the first objective of this mission. again it is similar to the prolog mission where you learn how to use controls. After the first few missions where you will learn the controls and will reach the first check point. The next objective is to tackle 3 waves of enemies to Defend the East Wall.
The next objective is to REACH the courtyard and assist your soldiers. After completing the objective a new cut scene shows up, the objective is to Reach the archers and kill them. try to attack and keep a pace so that you have enough chance to refill your stamina or else your attacks will be slower and that will give enemy a chance to take you down. Reach the marked location for next objective.
Hold the Castle from the invaders:
The next objective is to attack the invaders below. Blocking attacks plays a vital role in keeping your health high. Invaders will keep on entering from the left broken wall that will finally lead to breach of the main door. The next fight is to defeat Holden Cross’ Champion.
Tips to defeat the champion:
The Champion is good in dodging attacks, on the sides. So do not attack blindly.
Learn his attacks and block them to reserve your health. Once you have chance, use heavy attacks against him.
Follow the above process to take him down for the next cut scene.
For Honor is a 2017 action video game developed and published by Ubisoft for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game allows players to play the roles of historical forms of soldiers and warriors, including knights, samurai, vikings and since October 2018 the Chinese Wu Lin, within a medieval setting, controlled using a third-person perspective. The innovative Art of Battle system lets you feel the power of every strike, the strength of every impact, and the weight of the weapon in your hand. It is meant to deliver a feeling of really dueling without the sacrifice of accessibility and simplicity. The system was built using motion capture by real martial artists and professional stuntmen to give the battles realism not otherwise possible. Players can easily switch between three different stances in order to block an attack or strike an enemy. Watching the enemy closely to see which stance they switch to is key to defense and offense. This give the players a chance to plan their next move and ideally the next few as well. Players can also shift stances mid-swing and feint, in an attempt to trick opponents into shifting their guard.
There are three playable factions in For Honor and each one presents the story from their own point-of-view. Play through each one for a completely unique experience. The For Honor Story Campaign mode can be played solo or in 2 player co-op. Players will be thrust into the war raging with the other two factions. There is also a competitive multiplayer online mode that pits players against each other.
