Forager - part 1 - A new world
2Hey everyone and welcome to a new series of Forager on the PlayStation 5.
Forager is fun little game that includes building, farming, fishing, fighting and even crafting. We start with our little character at level 1 and we are able to destroy trees and rocks around us to collect resources. After collecting enough rock we are able to build our first furnace to craft more items.
Our characters will need to eat food to keep the stamina up, if our stamina falls to low then our character will take damage. When levelling up we are able to unlock new skills from our skill tree, these skills will allow us to be able to craft more items and explore in different ways. To move around this world we need to buy more land with gold, but firstly we need to craft coins using gold. We continue destroying all of the items around us to gather resources and are then able to make a forge.
With our first 30 gold we are able to buy another piece of land. This new land has a rainbow in the centre that shows up some colours, this is actually a puzzle. There are mushrooms located around the area and we have to hit them in the correct order, after doing this a chest will appear.
We travel around to try and gain as many coins as possible to buy more land so we can explore. We create some fishing nets and place them in the water so we are able to catch fish and eat them for stamina.
