Forager - Part 23 - Fire Temple & Crystal Caves
0Hey everyone and welcome back to forager on the PlayStation 5.
We still have a few more pieces of land to buy before we own the whole island as we have to get back to saving enough coins to buy them. We have gained another skill point and buy the perk conjuration, this makes out magic structures work 25% faster.
With the money we have saved we buy 2 more pieces of land in the bottom red area. One land has a pillar located in the centre. If we touch the pillar it will activate the combat obelisk. This means that we gain bonus xp from killing enemies. The next island has a building located on it, we head inside and find the fire temple. This temple is dark with light only coming from a few torches in the rooms. We work our way through the rooms within the fire temple. There are some doors that are locked and only the right coloured key can unlock the door. However there are some rooms that are guarded by vines that we are currently unable to open. After finding all the keys we unlock the fire rod, this allows us to shoot balls of fire. This rod allows us to unlock the rooms that are covered in vines. We are eventually able to find the boss and defeat them. For defeating the boss we are rewarded with the Fire seal. This is another puzzle fully solved.
Now we have obtained the fire rod we might have found a way to melt ice, so we head back to the crystal cave. There are some chests and a key in the crystal caves that we were unable to get before as they are covered in ice. Using the fire rod we try to melt the ice but it does not seem to work, we will have to find another way to remove the ice from the chests.
We save enough money to buy another piece of land at the bottom of the map. This island has torches located in a circle with a hint in the middle. We can see in the miss there are some numbers on the floor, these number match what order the torches should be pressed. However there are only 3 numbers shown here. There are other hints hidden on other islands, once we have found all 4 parts we will be able to complete this puzzle.
We get another idea for the crystal caves so head back inside. We are able to use one of out rods to freeze the fires in the room, whilst this happens we are able to reflect the light off the fire to melt the crystal ice surrounding the chests and key. We finally make it into the boss rooms and fight the enemy. After defeating the boss we are rewarded with the Frozen seal. Another puzzle completed!
