Genshin Impact - Part 112 - A nameless domain.
0Hey everyone and welcome back to Genshin Impact.
Last time we removed the fog from Tsurumi Island, since then Katheryne has asked for our help with a quest as part of the newest even within the game. We agree to help the adventurer guild, it seems that the person in need is someone we already know... its Xinyan. Xinyan has travelled to Inazuma for a concert, unfortunately it has been cancelled. Now Xinyan it stranded on Inazuma and is unable to get a travel permit.
Xinyan is devastated by the news but she still has so much of Inazuma she would like to see. We want to help Xinyan get a hold of the travel permit. We go to speak with the Tenryou commission to see why the travel permit is taking so long. It seems that they are having some trouble so everything is delayed. We head in and speak with Kujou Sara to see if we are able to help in anyway and get Xinyan her travel permit. After speaking to Sara we can see that they are very short on people and there is a new domain that has appeared within the world. This domain has been releasing monsters so they have had there work cut out for them. We offer to help defend against the domain and get them a helping hand. Sara knows our strength and accepts our help in exchange for Xinyan's travel pass.
Together we travel to this new nameless domain and check out the surrounding area. We see that the Tenryou commission have set up some barriers, however some monsters have escaped and are heading towards some civilians in the area. We stay to guard the domain whilst Sara deals with the other monsters. Some monsters leave through the domain and we fight them off because they are able to cause any damage. After defeating the monster we find something strange on the floor near the domain. Xinyan tells us it looks like a shikigami from the legends she has looked at. not long after the shikigami begins to move and speaks with us. This shikigami seems really concerned about the monsters, could he be the guardian of this domain? The shikigami introduces himself as Shiki Taishou, it seems that they have some form of memory loss and cant remember everything but is able to tell us alittle about the domain.
We are unsure if we can trust Shiki Taishou but Xinyan believes we can so we agree to give our trust too. Together we go into the domain to see if we can fend on the monsters but also help to retrieve some of Shiki Taishou memories. For this domain we are able to pick 2 teams a combat and support team. The domain is a dungeon that we have to work our way through with the characters we have selected. Each room has a different challenge and some allow us to change our party around if needed. There are also cards that we are able to use that give our characters buffs for an amount of time within the domain.
Once we enter the domain we are greeted by a familiar but unexpected face, its Childe. We have so many questions about why Childe is here but with everything that happened in Liyue we do not want to upset Xinyan. Paimon says that Childe is a friend from Mondstadt, Childe goes along with the story and stays with us through out this domain. Childe loves a fight and it happy to fight the monsters within the domain. Childe takes an intrest in Shiki Taishou and the memories that we might find. We agree to let Childe help so we can keep an eye on him.
Together we start fighting our way through this domain. Check back next time as we continue to push through the domain and see if we can restore Shiki Taishou's memories.
