25Forged Battalion is a Real Time Strategy game released as an Early Access on Steam. Title is made by the Petroglyph Games, player is able to customize the units on the battlefield.
Towards the end of the 21st century, the effects of climate change have devastated the world and a military force called “The Collective” has spread across the globe. As part of the resistance group it’s time for you to join the fight!
The second mission of the campaign during the Early Access phase for this title, gives us "not-so-skirmish" objective. Our mission is to destroy the enemies around the map (standard) and capture the Comm Station at the edge of the map. Be careful and really quick because on the Brutal Difficulty this mission is really tough and unforgiving. The enemy in this level operates with at least with Tech Level 3, while you are mostly still using only Tier 1 goodies. And he has already expanded a quite big base in the center of the map, while you have almost nothing at your disposal. You must begin with the economic boom to gather as many resources as quick as possible because you must pump a lot of basic units. Very good units for this mission are the Infantry walkers with Anti-Tank rifle because of their damage, range and cheap cost. They are a quite good choice against the flyers (who lack armor) and in very big groups they are formiddable defensive choice. Just don't forget also to mix them up with other units like Heavy Chassis Tanks or Artillery to back them up. Your flyers will serve as the enemy outpost raiders, it's a good choice to raid these outposts to severe the AIs economy. And don't forget about securing the Comm Center, the enemy will try to destroy it with bombers later during the mission.
