Eris, shown here with its only known moon, Dysnomia, was initially hailed as the 10th planet of the Solar System, but its discovery resulted in a redefinition of what constitutes a planet. Thus, Pluto and Eris were both demoted to dwarf planet status, which Ceres, Haumea and Makemake now also qualify as. The surface of Eris shown here is fictional, and the surface of Dysnomia is procedurally generated.
