Fortnightly parrot - Command flight
0YES! Its another video of my blue fronted Amazon parrot, this time of me training her to come to my arm on command.

Advice on getting a parrot to do this is to offer a treat and dont try to use a few commands for the same thing, most of all DONT YELL COMMANDS
I generally am against wing clipping as I think its crewel to deprive something of flight that is meant to travel that way.
Some think its better for the bird as it stops them from crashing into things, but they will soon learn whats safe and whats not
My place isn't the biggest place in the world, but she is only out of her cage while im there, for her own safety, leaving a bird out of its cage while you are not there is un-advised as sometimes they will nibble on things you dont want them to or will get to places you dont want them to.
For when im home and have the windows open I have rigged up a simple mesh wiring that she cant get past (not the metal stuff as its sharp).
(Dont mind the bit of mess, was sorting some things before hand)
Any questions feel free to ask, I aint an expert but I have learned a fair bit.
