Fortnite - How to Fix "ES-OSS-3 Error"
A short tutorial on how to fix the "ES-OSS-3" error code for the epic games launcher.
Leave a comment if you have any questions.
First of all, close your epic games launcher.
Next open up your control panel, simply search for it and hit enter. From here go to "Network and Internet", "Network and Sharing Center" and finally "Change Adapter Settings".
From here, right-click on your Ethernet connection and select "Properties". Here you want to click on "Internet Protocol version 4" and select properties again.
Select to "Obtain an IP address automatically" and "Use the following DNS server addresses".
As the preferred DNS server use "8 - 8 - 8 - 8" and as the alternate address use "8 - 8 - 4 - 4".
Now that this is done, you can close the settings windows.
Finally you will have to do one more thing, right click on your date and time and select "Adjust date and time".
Here select to set the time and time zone automatically.
Now you can open up your epic games launcher and play fortnite without getting the error message.
If this did not help then you will have to open up your firewall properties and reset your router from there.
