PART 7 UPDATE POST:
It appears to be over with. I just tried to replicate this as I did before -- see the part 7 video -- and it did not replicate. Read below for more details. For those in the loop, this would be the third time I tried this glitch on the third Forzathon that came up with a drift challenge. The last two times I tried this, the money glitch occured. This third time, it did not. If anyone figures it out, please let me know!

PART 5/6 UPDATE POST:
With more skill (drifting more points) I was able to score more CR in the same 16 minute run.

PART 4 UPDATE POST:
I replicated it again. Read below for background information. I did not do anything intentional to create this money glitch, that seems to engage after trying for a drift Forzathon challenge, but disappears after a game reboot (or potentially loading other types of races, who knows).

This time I seeking the MAKING THE TIRES SQUEAL (NO LACK OF FLAIR) Forzathon drifting challenge, where I had to achieve 7,000 or 9,000 (I forget) drift points on a single lap at night time. This is similar to my only previous creation of this bug/glitch, in PART 1/2/3, which you can read about below. I have no idea if seeking the Forzathon drifting challenges has anything to do this with, however I do know that restarting the game and duplicating what I did (to my knowledge) does not replicate it.

Note that I figured out it does not work on the Nurburgring. And also I maximized my profits running on Bernese Alps Festival Circuit.

PART 1/2/3 PREVIOUS POST:
If anyone knows how to replicate this, let me know. It may just be a one-off glitch. Here's how it happened for me:

I was performing the WARMING THE TIRES (SMOKE ON THE ASPHALT) Forzathon drifting challenge, where I had to achieve 7,000 drift points on a single lap.

I chose the setup you see in the videos below:
- Maple Valley Raceway Short Circuit
- Day
- 4:00 time limit
- 0 Drivitars
- 1992 Hoonigan Mazda RX-7 Twerkstallion

This produced about 500,000 CR from a Rivals bonus. For some reason, the event counted as a Rivals event. Notice there are no leaderboard entries. Perhaps it counted as if I scored #1 on a Rivals leaderboard? I have no idea.

I was able to replicate this until I restarted the game.

I did a test where I barely banked any drift score, and the Rival bonus reward was low, so it does depend on your skill.

Note: Some gamers dislike videos posted of glitches (as it may lead to unwanted patches), but this one is not reproducible. I can pull down this thread if this changes or if anyone feels that I should.
