Forza Motorsport (2023) - Every PC F1 Game
5Forza Motorsport by Turn 10 Studios / Microsoft, 2023.
The 8th Forza Motorsport game features some F1 content. There are cars from the '60s, '70s and '80/'90s. There's no (as of the making of this video) any modern F1 car, like there was in the previous Forza Motorsport 7.
The game features (currently) a range of several F1 circuits, but not all the ones I usually use, so I've used some stand-ins instead. Sound is okay, graphics are generally good, but I had to turn them down a touch, as my PC is getting a bit old! I'm running the game on HDD when SSD is recomended, so some textures don't get a chance to fully load, now and then!
I'm focusing on the 1980s/'90s cars here, which are the Ferrari 641, McLaren MP4/4 and Lotus 98T. Many of the other cars are using skins here though, so you might see some Red Bull and Williams cars, and more!
1. Race Start (Monza): 0:00 Monza isn't present currently, so here's Hockenheim to start things off. You can briefly see a helicopter that can't make it's mind up if it's loaded or not, due to my PC being a over the VRAM graphic memory level suggested!
2. Spray Effects (Silverstone): 0:42 This is Silverstone, with a McLaren someone skinned to look like a Red Bull!
3. Tunnel & View (Monaco): 1:05 Yas Marina stands-in for Monaco here. There's no city circuits in the game currently. Once again you can see my PC struggle to bring in high-res textures now-and-then.
4. Wet Track (Spa-Francorchamps): 1:31 Spa is here, but it's using the pre-2023 version of the track. The rain effects are pretty good, this is in a "rainstorm".
5. Pitstop (Interlagos): 1:54 Here's a pitstop at Suzuka, as Interlagos isn't in the game currently (though is a fan favourite to be added in due course).
6. Huge Crash (Montreal): 2:35 Instead of Montreal, which isn't present, here's Kyalami (which is more relevant to these 1980s/1990s cars anyway! As you can see, crashes are pretty tame!
