0We FINALLY found Abby and learned her side of the story.
Maybe some people changed their opinion of her after this, but NOT me. Her dad was way too quick to tell Marlene that Ellie wouldn’t survive the procedure, but when asked if the tables were turned and the immune child was Abby on the table, he had no answer. That silence said it all.
They weren’t even going to let Joel say goodbye to Ellie. What did they expect him to do? Just smile and say, “Sure, kill my daughter. Tell her I love her”? Oh wait! They couldn’t even do that, because Ellie was already unconscious. Honestly, if Marlene and Abby’s dad had just spoken with Joel and Ellie together, I really believe Ellie would’ve convinced Joel it was okay. But they didn’t. So, they paid the price for underestimating him.
I feel bad that Abby lost her dad, truly… but I don’t forgive her. I don’t understand why she killed Joel. And I really hope Ellie doesn’t let her get away with it.
