This may be an unpopular opinion, but I truly believe that if Abby had let go of her obsession with killing Joel, she and Owen could’ve been endgame. It was clear Owen loved her, but every time he tried to share a romantic moment, she shut it down by talking about training or chasing leads. Eventually, I think he got tired of waiting... and that’s what led him to Mel. (Though, let’s be honest, Mel didn’t really stop them either.) Abby may be strong, but she’s also reckless. She could’ve had happiness with Owen, but instead, she ruined her shot and Ellie’s by going after Joel. I will NEVER forgive her for that.
