As you can probably tell, I've been scaling back on a lot of video projects. However I still have my love of reading. Even if I have less time for it. Science Fiction is a genre I've head a few times. War of the Worlds, The Time Machine, Journey to the Center of the Earth, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, the Novelization of Star Wars and Frank Herbert's Dune. I seem to keep coming back to Dune. For being held in as high regard as it is, I'm left wondering how come as I feel there are far better Science fiction works out there. This is an example of one of them. While I would have liked more detail, the lose style give you enough to get the story across, without having to break down the hierarchy of every planet visited. Though the Anthology Aspect really threw me through a loop. I was hoping for a solid story, not multiple mini ones. For what they are worth though, they are all very well done.
