3I just received my video Tc/Rx and infamous HobbyKing $17 camera and very quickly shoved it all in my old Tamiya Mad Bull to see if it works.
Yes it does, although 5.8Ghz along the ground has some real issues on these basic antennas. Close up even going down a small slope would cause interference, but out in front the signal was very nice.
Obviously, I could see mostly nothing much of the time because of the awful reflections anyway - but it was still fun to try.
