Franklin the Turtle is a six-year old turtle, with his best friend, Bear, and these pals face life's challenge together in the animated series. Based on the Books with the same name by Paulette Bourgeois and Brenda Clark. Franklin the Turtle was played by Noah Reid in the Canadian children's animated television series. It aired on November 3, 1997 and ended on August 9, 2004. It used to air on Family Channel and Treehouse TV and it's a production of Nelvana. The theme music composer was Bruce Cockburn. Soon, after Franklin was taken off the air, it has been replaced with a new adaptation called Franklin and Friends.
