Frantic Walkthrough - Impossible Badge - Part 2 - Levels 7 to 10
30This is a video of me, Tasselfoot, beating the game Frantic without being hit. This is part 2 of 2 parts, with levels 7-10 being shown. The raw footage is 54 minutes long, so instead of speeding it up to 8x and on 1 video, I cut it into 2 and made each 4x speed.
Hopefully this video shows strategy in how to beat the game without being hit... in terms of avoidance on each level, each boss' avoidance, and strategy for buying.
You want to upgrade Speed and Power of your main weapon. You want to get lasers. Early in the game, you'll want to get the Pot of Gold for extra money. Once you can afford the Start Each Level +1 Powerup, get that over the extra cash.
I recommend the heavy firepower - low shield for 2 reasons:
1. You don't need shield... you can't get hit. So more firepower the better.
2. It's really really thin. So it has a really small hit detection radius. Which makes it easier to avoid the bosses.
From everything I could tell, the hit radius is purely the tip of the ship, and that's it. It appears to be a 1 pixel spot, maybe 4 pixel square... not sure. Regardless, it's not THAT hard to avoid stuff if you're careful and take things slow and steady.
