Hello everyone!
Welcome back to Freddy Plays for todays episode of Dark Souls 3.
My last pair of Dark Souls 3 videos were both live streams, and so i thought today that i might upload a bit more of a highlights video, skipping over all the grinding and dying. Ya know, trying to make the videos a little shorter and alittle more interesting at the same time, so if this works for you guys, let me know!

Anyways, i'll start by ONE LAST TIME saying, WOW, this game looks amazing. The GTX 1080 is really hammering home the grpahics that Dark Souls 3 is bringing to the party, and the feel of the whole thing is just perfect. I'm really enjoying the new, almost darkest yet, environments, and the tough enemies are giving me a little pause too. Some of the more stock standard fighter type enemies are coming equipped with more shield break and gaurd break techniques this time, it's a lot harder to get the upper hand.

I don't want to go as far as to say that the stamina side of things is a little one sided, but sometimes it does feel that way. Dark Souls has always been guilty of this one, so i can't take it out specifically on Dark Souls 3, but it feels a little worse this time around. What I mean is, a lot of the bigger enemies seem to have an unlimited pool of stamina, and it can make some fights seem very one sided. Where, for the player, blocking drains stamina, this doesn't seem to happen for the enemy. So you can block all their attacks, and then you have nothing left to strike back with, but the enemies in Dark Souls 3 can block to their hearts content, and then swing for the fences, in flurry after flurry. It can make combat very annoying at times, which is one more reason that i'm happy to knock out some of the grind off camera for you guys.

I also noticed that this game seems to have come full circle to the first, with the main support hub being the Firelink Shrine from the first game, which is pretty cool to see them being tied together. I've not actually played Dark Souls 3 until now, so i'm coming into the game a little bit blind, and it's nice to see these little details that other people may not have picked up on.
