And with that definition out of the way (and boy howdy does that set the tone for the book), we are rollin'! "Echopraxia" by Peter Watts is the sequel to "Blindsight" and while it is very much in the same world, the protagonist of the latter is only present in spirit.
Get ready, this is going to be a pretty wild ride.
